Malena’s extensive experience in Social Services, particularly in the child welfare system and working with domestic violence survivors, showcases her dedication to helping vulnerable populations. Her recent work as an investigator at adult protective services further demonstrates her commitment to advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves.

Malena’s passion for social justice is evident in her involvement as a board member of the Green Valley Health and Wellness Committee. Her Tucson roots and military background have instilled in her a strong sense of community and a dedication to serving veterans.

As a Death Doula, Malena provides compassionate support to individuals and their families during the end-of-life process. This unique role highlights her empathy and commitment to ensuring a peaceful and dignified transition for those she serves.

As a proud mother of three, Malena values family and enjoys spending her free time engaging in creative activities such as art, music, poetry, and cooking.
